You have already written the quest, but it seems that something is missing? Do the tasks seem the same type, the text is monotonous, and the photos are boring? Then this post is for you.
1. Check the quest for a variety of tasks. In our application, you can create a quest with four types of tasks:
a task with a map (the player must find a certain place on the map and check in next to it);
text task (the player answers the riddle with a word, phrase, sentence);
a task with a QR code (the user must read the QR code);
a task with several answers (the user must answer the riddle with several answers).
2. Make sure that the quest does not have too much text, make the sentences more concise and easier to read. If you cannot fit all the information into a fairly short text, try to convey some of it using a photo or video. The human brain is always easier to perceive the visualized information.
3. Don't forget to add visual content to each task in the quest. Photos and videos will perfectly complement your quest, but it is important to remember that neither photos nor videos shouldn’t violate anyone's copyright. You can create photos and videos by yourself or buy them on photo stock. Photos and videos should be on the topic of each assignment to which they are attached.
