Hello, dear authors! Today we're going to give a couple of tips for writing a quest if the writing process is at a dead end.

It's no secret that when writing stories, books, various plots, the authors find themselves in a so-called “dead end”. What to do in this case?

1. Reread or read aloud everything you have written. Underline and mark what you don't like and start working on it.

2. Try writing on paper. Take a paper, pen and start writing whatever is in your head. Don’t be afraid to cross out, correct or even draw. After all, when everything is before your eyes, it is much easier to understand where to start and how to proceed.

3. If you can't express your idea in words — draw, create diagrams, tables. Visualize your thoughts. These can be maps, travel routes, building plans, tables, and structural diagrams. Information is much easier to comprehend when it is structured rather than written in solid text. And the drawings will bring a lot of fun and interactivity to the process of creating a quest.

4. Write about everything, without thinking about the “correctness” of the text. And after that “filter out” everything unnecessary. Do not limit yourself to the framework of the language: write as if you were talking to your best friend. Don't be afraid to be emotional. Write everything you think about, even the strangest ideas, and if there is absolutely nothing in your head about your topic, read the 5th paragraph.

5. Look at any materials from the Internet on the topic of your quest, photos, videos, stories, anything that can inspire you. Mark all that you find interesting. But never forget that you are the author, you can be inspired by other people's works, but your work must be individual. Get inspired and create!
