These days, phone cameras have become so powerful, and taking stunning photos is easier than it’s ever been. Phone cameras may be less advanced than other cameras, but the quality of a photo is not just about the equipment you’re using. An important role is played by light, posing and placing objects in space and of course editing photos.

There are some phone photography tips for beginners:

• Use natural light:

-If you are shooting outdoors, the sun should ideally shine in the face of your subject, this means that the photographer must position himself so that the sun was behind him.

-If you're shooting indoors, try to shoot close to a window so you have natural light coming in instead of turning on the lights. 

• Rule of thirds:

You can make your shots look more professional if you embrace the "Rule of Thirds”.

-If you have an iPhone turn this option on by visiting Settings > Photos & Camera and enabling the Grid switch. 

-If you use an Android device, go to Settings > Apps > Camera and then select “Gridlines”. 

Now use these lines as a guide, positioning the horizon along the horizontal lines, aligning the standing object with one of the vertical lines, and positioning the object at one of the four grid intersections, rather than in the middle of the screen.
